Who is responsible

What we collect
- Contact form: your name, work email, organisation (optional), the topic of your enquiry and your message.
- Newsletter: your email address.
- Technical data: our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) to keep the website secure and available.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not build profiles of visitors.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To reply to your enquiry and take the next steps you ask for: steps prior to a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
- To send the studio newsletter: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)).
- To keep the website secure: our legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
Who receives it
Only the Afrocentric Solutions team and the service providers that host our website and process form submissions on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions. We do not sell personal data.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Our website is hosted in South Africa, where form submissions are stored, and our operating office in Johannesburg handles enquiries. How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to three years after our last exchange, unless a business relationship follows.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Server logs: as set by our hosting provider, and no longer than twelve months.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@afrocentricsolutions.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr), or, for processing in South Africa, the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable providers to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Changes
We will update this page if the way we process personal data changes, and change the date at the top.
